A man has been arrested after allegedly trying to assault members of the public at Kingston dog beach on Tuesday.
Tasmania Police said officers were called to the beach shortly before midday following reports of a man “acting erratically and verbally abusing” people.

“Officers attended and safely took the man into custody within minutes,” police said in a post to a community Facebook group.
“No injuries were reported.”
