Man in his 70s dies after falling from mower at north-west Tasmanian property

A man in his 70s has died after falling from a zero-turn mower on a private property in Kindred in north-west Tasmania this afternoon.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene around 3:30pm following reports the man had fallen from the mower.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tasmania Police said initial inquiries indicate the man was driving the zero-turn mower on private property when the incident occurred.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
