A man has been pulled from a burning house on Hobart’s eastern shore with minor injuries as firefighters work to bring the blaze under control.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in Phoenix Street at Howrah around 8:05pm on Sunday.

The Tasmania Fire Service said crews from Clarence and Hobart were sent to the scene.
Tasmania Police said the male occupant had been “safely removed from the property” and suffered minor injuries.
No one else was inside the home at the time.
Police have asked people to stay away from Phoenix Street while emergency crews remain at the scene.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
