A 65 year old motorbike rider has been airlifted to the Royal Hobart Hospital this afternoon with ‘impact injuries’ after a serious crash on the Tasman Highway at Bicheno.
The Tasmanian man’s condition was classed as serious but stable upon departure, and the 30 year old female driver of the Subaru involved was not injured.

The motorcyclist was part of a group of three riders heading south out of the township, and police say speed is not deemed to be a contributing factor.
