Police have cordoned off part of Franklin Square in Hobart after a man’s body was found early this morning.
Officers were called to the scene around 5:30am after the body was located.

Tasmania Police said initial investigations found no suspicious circumstances.
Police personnel remain at the scene and a section of the square has been blocked off.
There is no threat to public safety.
People are being asked to avoid the area until further notice.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
