A car found submerged in a Launceston lake has left residents puzzled and authorities investigating.
The small black vehicle was discovered in Waverly Lake on Monday, sparking questions about how and why it ended up in the water.

The Launceston City Council and Police are working to identify the owner and to remove the vehicle from the water.
It is not know how long the vehicle has been in the water.
