Firefighters are working to put out a house fire at Bridgewater, north of Hobart, this morning.
Firefighters from the Bridgewater and Glenorchy brigades were called to the home at Hayton Place after multiple Triple Zero (000) calls reported the incident.

They arrived to find smoke coming from the house.
The occupants got out safely and no serious injuries have been reported, police said.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. The Tasmania Fire Service said an investigation “will be undertaken once it is safe to do so”.
