Mooreville Road in Burnie has been closed after a pedestrian was hit by a car this afternoon.
The Shorewell Park road will remain closed for some time between Wiseman Street and Wingrove Gardens, with motorists asked to avoid the area.
Police say “details of injuries are not yet known”.
