Pedestrian injured after being hit by car outside Royal Hobart Hospital

A pedestrian has reportedly sustained injuries after they were hit by a car in the Hobart CBD this evening.

Police say the person was struck on the corner of Liverpool and Argyle Streets around 5:30pm on Friday.

The incident occurred only metres from the Royal Hobart Hospital.

While investigations continue, police have said the pedestrian’s injuries don’t appear to be life-threatening.

Drivers are advised to steer clear of the area until the scene has been cleared.
