A man from Don in the state’s north-west is facing a wounding charge after an incident overnight.
Police were called to Forth Road just before 8:30pm on Thursday after reports a man received serious injuries in an “altercation” with another man at a home.

The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance, police said.
The 37-year-old alleged attacked was taken into custody at the scene.
He has been charged with one count of wounding and detained to appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court.
