Police are appealing for witnesses after a fire extinguisher was thrown from the top of a Hobart car park and smashed through a glass awning.
The incident happened near the Argyle Street car park and Bank Arcade around 2:45pm on Monday.

“Thankfully, no-one was injured in the incident,” a Tasmania Police spokesperson said.
Police said they are working to identify the people involved.
They have urged anyone who saw suspicious behaviour in the car park or witnessed the incident to come forward.
