A pedestrian has reportedly been struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Brisbane and Charles streets in Launceston.
Tasmania Police said officers are at the scene.

“Motorists are asked to avoid the area until the scene is cleared,” police said.
A witness told Pulse members of the public rendered first aid to the pedestrian before emergency services arrived.
The extent of the their injuries is not yet known.
