A 47-year-old man from Penguin has been charged with serious drug and firearm offences following a police search at a property earlier this week.
According to Tasmania Police, officers executed a search warrant at the property on Tuesday, where they discovered a quantity of cannabis and illegal firearms.

Both the drugs and firearms were seized by police.
The man was arrested at the scene and later charged with serious drug and firearm offences.
He has been released on bail and is set to appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court at a later date.
Tasmania Police are encouraging anyone with information in relation to illegal firearms or drugs to come forward and contact them or Crime Stoppers. Information can be provided anonymously.
