A man has been taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital after police were called to a disturbance in Bridgewater on Saturday night.
Officers responded to Braydon Court and found the man with lacerations to his hands and arms.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
One person is in custody in relation to the incident.
Police remain on scene and inquiries are continuing to determine what occurred.

Earlier in the evening, residents were blocked from accessing the street as forensic units responded.
One local told Pulse the road had been closed for over an hour as of 10pm.
Police did not provide residents with informations about when they would be able to access the area again at the time.
Tasmania Police had earlier told Pulse there was no ongoing threat to the general public but refused to provide any further detail at the time.
