The Tasman Highway at Orford is set to close from around 10am this morning as investigations into a serious crash continue, cutting off parts of Tasmania’s East Coast.
Police say the highway will be closed near the golf course following a crash that left a 47-year-old man seriously injured on Saturday night.

The driver was airlifted to hospital after leaving the road and crashing through a timber and brick fence before coming to a stop against a house.
Police have not yet announced when the highway will be re-opened.
