A man has been charged with recklessly discharging a firearm following a shooting incident in Hobart’s northern suburbs.
The 30-year-old from Gagebrook was taken into custody in Glenorchy on Wednesday following the incident in Bridgewater the night before.

Police said the man will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Friday on several charges, including aggravated assault, aggravated burglary, causing grievous bodily harm and wounding.
He is also facing charges for possessing a firearm without the appropriate licence and trafficking in a controlled substance.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing, police say.
The victim was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital, where it is understood he remains, with gunshot wound.
