The Tasmania Devils and Werribee have played out a thrilling draw in the VFL, finishing locked on 97 points apiece at Avalon Airport Oval in Werribee.
Both sides kicked 14.13 to finish level at the end of the round seven clash, which got underway at 1:05pm AEST on May 9, 2026.
Werribee held a strong lead at the first break, heading into quarter time up 38 to 26.
Tasmania fought back hard in the second term but still trailed at the long break, with Werribee ahead 46 to 62.

The Tigers stretched their advantage to nine points at three-quarter time, leading 69 to 78.
But Tasmania stormed home in the final quarter, piling on five goals to three to level the scores.

Hugh Dixon was the standout up forward for the Devils, booting four goals and three behinds for the match.
Darcy Gardner, Caleb Mitchell and Jaxon Artemis each added a goal in the final term to help Tasmania claw their way back.
The result leaves Tasmania sitting third on the VFL ladder with four wins, one draw and one loss from six matches.
The Devils have been in strong form since opening their inaugural VFL season in March, having beaten Sandringham, Frankston, Port Melbourne and Coburg before their only loss came against Carlton at Hobart’s Ninja Stadium.
