An investigation has been launched after young Tasmanian man was killed following a “horrific” accident at Ulverstone over the weekend.
21-year-old Brady Hubbard from the north-west coast was left fighting for his life after he received a serious head injury near the West Ulverstone Football Club on Saturday night.
Police earlier said they believed he may have fallen from the rear of a vehicle, adding he did not seek medical attention until early Monday morning – more than 24 hours after the incident occurred.
He was immediately airlifted to the Royal Hobart Hospital, where he passed away on Wednesday.
Over $8000 had been raised on GoFundMe in the last 24 hours, with the football community coming together to raise funds for his family.
