Tasmanian Premier Jeremy Rockliff has appointed Liberal Member for Prosser Kerry Vincent as Parliamentary Secretary for Infrastructure.

Rockliff said the move is part of the government’s focus on delivering key infrastructure projects across the state, including a $5.1 billion building agenda.

“Kerry will be across the infrastructure areas of responsibility right across Tasmania,” he said.

“That could be from our road and bridge network to other key infrastructure as well.”

“As the former Mayor of Sorell, Kerry played an instrumental role in the transformation of Sorell which has seen the construction and delivery of generational infrastructure for his constituents, in partnership with state and federal governments.”

Vincent said it was a “real honour” to serve the Premier and Tasmania in the role.

“Tasmania is on the cusp of completing some of the biggest infrastructure projects in our state’s history,” he said.

“I look forward to playing my part in ensuring these projects come to fruition.”
