Tasmania’s Inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 winners have been crowned!
Tasmanian Jake Birtwhistle took out the men’s top spot with a time of 03:49:20, while Ellie Salthouse came out on top as female champion at 04:25:07.
The athletes were cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd of supporters, who came out in large numbers to show their support for the competitors across the city.
