A teenage boy has died and a girl has been left badly injured after a quad bike crash in Tasmania’s rural northwest yesterday afternoon.
Police say the crash happened in Oldina around 3pm on Saturday, with a 16-year-old boy and his 16-year-old female passenger both taken to North West Regional Hospital with critical injuries.

The boy sadly died of his injuries a short time later, while the girl remains in a stable condition in Hospital in Burnie.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
