Two thieves have been caught on camera raiding the Claremont Football Club clubhouse in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Security footage showed the pair entering the premises at around 4:40am and stealing alcohol, tip jars and eftpos machines from the clubhouse and bar area.
The club shared the video on social media in a bid to identify the offenders.
Both were wearing Kiss Chasey branded hooded jumpers with crosses on the back.
The club described the theft as “incredibly disappointing” for a community sporting organisation.
“Like many clubs, everything we have goes back into supporting our players, juniors, families and the wider Claremont community,” the club said.
Tasmania Police confirmed they are investigating the burglary.
Police said the two suspects, they said were believed to be male, broke into the building at around 4:40am on Wednesday.
One suspect was wearing a dark coloured hoodie and light coloured pants, while the second wore dark coloured pants and a dark coloured hoodie.
Police are seeking public help to identify the offenders.
