Police are investigating a “suspicious fire” in Wynyard after a vehicle was torched and windows smashed at a property on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to Martin Street shortly before 11pm and found the vehicle fully alight on the driveway.
Several windows at the house had also been smashed.
Police said nobody was home at the time of the incident.
Tasmania Police said the incident involves people known to each other.

One eyewitness described the scene as “absolute mayhem”.
“Car windows broken, then house windows smashed,” they said.
“Absolute mayhem in the street for a few hrs.”
The witness said things had settled before they went to check on strange noises around 10:45pm and found the car on fire.
Police are treating the blaze as suspicious and the cause remains under investigation.
The damage bill for the burnt vehicle and property is yet to be assessed.
