A weatherboard house in Berriedale has been engulfed in flames tonight, drawing fire crews from across Hobart.
Tasmania Fire Service crews from Glenorchy, Bridgewater and Hobart CBD were called to the property at 1 Pekurn Crescent just after 8:30pm on Thursday.

Firefighters arrived to find the weatherboard house “burning well,” the Tasmania Fire Service said.
The blaze was quickly contained to stop it spreading to neighbouring properties, but the house was left charred.
The cause of the fire yet to be determined.
