Tom Wolfe, one half of Tasmanian country duo The Wolfe Brothers, has revealed he was rushed to hospital last week after suffering a severe allergic reaction to peanuts.
Wolfe broke the news on social media on Wednesday night, explaining he’d been quiet online for the past week after the medical emergency.
“Last week I had a pretty bad anaphylactic shock to peanuts and ended up in hospital,” he said.
“Pretty scary stuff, but incredibly thankful for the paramedics who looked after me.”

Wolfe said it took five shots of adrenaline and an ambulance ride to get him through the ordeal.
He shared a photo of himself lying on a hospital stretcher alongside the update.

The musician assured fans he’s now recovered and in good spirits, offering a lighthearted tribute to the first responders who treated him.
“If those paramedics ever want Wolfe Brothers tickets… they’re on the house,” he said.
