A serious two car crash closed both lanes of the Bass Highway at Port Latta earlier this afternoon.
Police say the Anzac Day crash occurred shortly before 2pm and initially blocked both lanes of the highway, before later being cleared to one lane.

“The road is currently blocked for both lanes approx 3km on the Smithton side of Port Latta. Police are hoping to open one lane shortly,” officers said prior to reopening one lane.
A female has been transported to the North West Regional Hospital with unknown injures.
Crash Investigation Services remain at the scene conducting investigations.
