A 15-year-old girl has been charged after allegedly carrying a knife through the Hobart CBD on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called around 2:50pm to reports of the teenager behaving “in an agitated manner” in the Liverpool, Elizabeth and Argyle street area.

Officers took her into custody on Argyle Street within four minutes of the first report.
“The swift response by attending officers ensured the incident was quickly contained, with no injuries reported,” police said.
The girl has been charged with behaving in a violent manner, unlawfully carrying a dangerous article in a public place and stealing.
