A drunk drive on Tasmania’s east coast has landed a NSW man in custody and a 2 year license disqualification.
Police charged the 60-year-old New South Wales man with high range drink driving after receiving a tip-off from Scamander locals yesterday.

The man returned a breath alcohol reading of 0.246, almost five times the legal limit, when officers pulled him over on Scamander Avenue on Tuesday.
He was immediately disqualified from driving for 24 months and held in custody to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court later today.
