Ben Lomond National Park has transformed into a magical winter wonderland, with over 10cm of snow falling overnight Saturday.
The resort shared early on Monday morning that they will be opening today, asking skiers to ‘standby for a lift status’.
Yesterday the resort wrote that the Bass and Summit lifts may be opened on Monday if conditions allow.
“With another 10cm predicted tonight, and ideal snow making conditions this evening, Bass and/or Summit are on standby to open to tower two tomorrow,” they said.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast more snow for the rest of the week on Ben Lomond, with Monday and Tuesday expected to have snow showers and winds and a maximum temperature of -1C.
All cars in Ben Lomond National Park must carry snow chains between June and September.
