Bird flu has now been detected in Dover and Devonport, pushing the number of confirmed H5 events in Tasmania to 46.
The two new detections have been recorded since the last update on September 23.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania has carried out 582 tests to date and received 4,028 reports from the community.
The department said the risk to the public remains low, but people should not touch sick or dead birds or other wildlife.

Earlier this month, a silver gull became the first bird to test positive in Hobart’s CBD.
At the time, state biosecurity controller Rae Burrows said community reports were vital to tracking the virus.
“Reports from the community remain important to our surveillance efforts and help us understand how the disease is moving across Tasmania,” she said.
