Two separate crashes on the Midland Highway at Bridgewater are causing delays for motorists this evening.
Police and emergency services responded to a four-vehicle crash near the Glenstone Link shortly before 5pm.
No serious injuries have been reported from that incident.
The southbound lane of the Midland Highway is currently blocked.
Motorists have been advised to use caution when approaching the area, delay their travel if possible or take an alternative route.
A second crash was reported a short time later, around 5:45pm, a short distance north of the East Derwent Highway roundabout.
The two-vehicle crash has left fluid on the roadway, creating a potential hazard for drivers.
No injuries have been reported from the second incident.
Police are advising caution on the approach to both areas.
