Hundreds of properties in Bridgewater are without power tonight after a car reportedly crashed into a transformer.
TasNetworks reported two separate outages in the area, the first affecting 91 properties from around 9:06pm and a second knocking out 446 properties from around 9:54pm.

The energy provider said restoration times for both outages are unknown, with estimated repair listed as “to be confirmed – long delays.”
An eyewitness told Pulse a car hit the transformer while “doing burnouts on corner of Bisdee [Road] and Gallahar [Place]”.
TasNetworks have listed the cause of the outage as a “vehicle accident”.
