A Kingston man has been charged after an alleged road rage incident on Algona Road, Kingston on Thursday afternoon.
The 47-year-old was taken into custody following the incident, which occurred around 2:35pm.
He was charged with dangerous driving, common assault and failing to remain at the scene.
The man was held overnight and appeared in the Hobart Magistrates Court today.
Police said the incident allegedly involved dangerous driving and an assault, culminating in a vehicle crash in the Scarborough Road area.
The victim sustained minor injuries and received medical attention.
Investigations are continuing and anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of vehicles on Algona Road or in the Scarborough Road area around the time is asked to contact police on 131 444, quoting ESCAD 215-06082026.
