Motorcycle rider injured in crash with truck on Brooker Highway

A motorcycle rider has been injured in a crash on Hobart’s Brooker Highway at Montrose after a collision with a truck.

Images from the scene show the black motorcycle under with the rear of the flatbed truck.

Tasmania Police say the severity of the rider’s injuries is not yet known.

Northbound traffic has been reduced to one lane, with delays expected.

Police are urging drivers to avoid the area or allow extra travel time until the scene is cleared.
