Emergency services have closed a stretch of Oceana Drive in Howrah on Hobart’s eastern shore after a serious motorcycle crash.
The crash happened between Minerva Street and Balia Road around 7pm on Saturday.

The extent of the rider’s injuries is not yet known.
The section of Oceana Drive between Minerva Street and Balia Road is currently closed to traffic.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
