Armed robbery charges have been laid against a Hobart man accused of stealing prescription medication from a Rosny pharmacy.
The 25-year-old allegedly threatened pharmacy staff on Friday evening while armed with a knife.

Police say the man entered the pharmacy and demanded various drugs before fleeing the scene with multiple stolen medications.
Following a short investigation, the man was arrested at his home on Monday afternoon.
He is scheduled to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on August 14.
“No one was physically injured during the incident,” police said.
