A 14-year-old girl who vanished from Launceston last Sunday is still missing 7 days later, Police say.
Shyanne-Lee Tatnell was last seen heading to visit a friend on Henry Street in Launceston, near the North Esk River, with the area subject to a number of searches over the weekend.
Shyanne-Lee’s grandmother has pleaded for her safe return, saying “Please, please Shyanne, please make contact with someone so we know you’re safe.”
“Then we can get you home to us where you are so needed and so loved,” she said.
“Friends and family remain unable to contact Shyanne-Lee which is out of character for her,” said Inspector Craig Fox.

She is described as being approximately 160cm tall, slim build with blonde hair.
At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a cream coloured hooded jumper with dark coloured writing on the chest and shoulder area.
She was also wearing bike shorts.
“I urge anyone with information that would assist police to locate Shyanne-Lee to contact us on 131 444 – you can remain anonymous,” he said.
