A suspicious fire has destroyed a vacant house on Tasmania’s west coast in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Acting Sergeant Jeremy Williams said firefighters were called to the blaze on Rosebery’s Reece Avenue around 4:45am on Wednesday.

Williams said the home was unoccupied at the time and believes the fire may have been deliberately lit.
He said Police would like to hear from anyone with information with information on how the fire started.
“We are also interested in hearing from anyone that may have placed an orange traffic bollard at the intersection of Reece Avenue and Morrisby Street in Rosebery, prior to emergency services arriving,” Williams said.
