Two Tasmania players have been named in the 42-strong squad in contention for the 2026 VFLW Team of the Year.
Ava Read and Grace White both earned selection after standout home and away seasons for Tasmania.
Read kicked 21 goals across 14 matches this season, averaging 11.4 disposals, 3.4 score involvements and 1.5 goals per game.
White booted 15 goals from 14 matches, averaging 11.9 disposals, 4.6 score involvements and 1.1 goals per game.

The squad features the best performed players from the VFLW home and away season across all positions.
Players needed to have played at least eight home and away matches to be eligible.

North Melbourne Werribee led all clubs with six players in the squad, followed by Carlton and Williamstown with five each.
Collingwood and Western Bulldogs had four representatives apiece.
The final team of 21 players will be named at the 2026 VFL and VFLW Awards on Monday, September 14.
A captain and coach will also be selected on the night.
The awards will be streamed live and free on AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App from 7pm on Monday.
