Two women have been arrested after allegedly stealing over $6,000 worth of goods from stores in Launceston and Devonport in recent months.
The pair from Ravenswood, aged 26 and 39, were taken into custody in the Rooke Street Mall in Devonport on Saturday.

Police say the women were stopped as they left a store with a “significant amount of property”.
A search warrant was then executed on the women’s vehicle, where even more stolen items were found.
Police said the items located are thought to have been taken between May and September.
Both women made an appearance in court on Monday morning and were remanded in custody.
They are scheduled to appear again at a later date.
