An “uncontrollable” bushfire is currently burning on Tasmania’s West Coast, with officials urging residents to prepare to leave.
TasAlert say the high risk fire on Arthur Street in Rosebery is travelling towards Agnes Street, Primrose Street and surrounding streets, with embers, smoke and ash expected to fall in the surrounding area.

Residents should make sure they are ready to leave, making sure they have a clear path to a safer place. An Evacuation Centre has been set up at the Rosebery Memorial Hall.
