AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon and chief operating officer Tom Harley have touched down in Hobart today for talks with the Tasmanian government, Pulse can reveal.
Dillon was spotted walking into the Executive Building in Hobart around 11am.
The two AFL officials are understood to have met with Premier Jeremy Rockliff and his staff, as Tasmania gears up for its AFL entry in 2028.
A potential Tasmanian gather round is believed to have been on the agenda, along with the now-approved Macquarie Point stadium and Kingston High Performance Centre.

“The meeting was productive as always. Exciting times ahead,” Premier Jeremy Rockliff told Pulse.
The two officials are understood to be staying in Hobart overnight.
The visit comes after a bumper crowd of more than 14,000 turned out for the Tasmania Devils’ VFL clash at Ninja Stadium on Saturday, with the team continuing to draw large crowds in the state’s return to the league.

The Devils next head to Launceston to take on Sandringham at UTAS Stadium on May 3.
