Tasmania Devils fans have just hours left to lock in their shot at a priority membership for the club’s first AFL season in 2028.

Supporters must buy a Devils Believer membership by 5pm tonight to be eligible for one of 4,500 limited spots going on sale next week.

The club is releasing three membership tiers. The top-end 1866 Club costs $1,500, R28 Premium is $350 and entry-level R28 is $150.

The Devils already have more than 25,000 Believer members.

The 4,500 spots are spread across the three tiers and the club expects them to go quickly.

The 1866 Club goes on sale at 11am on Tuesday, June 16. Both R28 products follow at 11am on Thursday, June 18.

Alex Edgar, the Devils’ head of fan engagement and growth, said the Friday cut-off was about making sure fans were set up before sales open.

“Essentially it’s just to make sure that you’re in the system correctly and that we’ve got time to send you instructions on how to purchase,” Edgar told Pulse.

“So that we know you’re all ready to go, ready for the on-sale.”

Edgar said the 4,500 cap was deliberate, leaving room for a broader ticketing program in 2028.

“We’ve looked at the venue capacities across Ninja and UTAS and what we want to make sure is we’re leaving ourselves enough availability to create the membership and ticketing program for 2028,” she said.

“We want to leave ourselves the flexibility to create the membership program and also to make sure we’ve got enough inventory to have as many people through the gates as possible.”

The 1866 Club tier includes behind-the-scenes access and first priority for 2028 products, including the club’s first AFLW season.

It also carries a tax-deductible donation of $900 in both 2026 and 2027 through the Australian Sports Foundation, with funds going towards building the club.

“We’re expecting these products to be popular,” Edgar said.

“If you’re keen, I would just suggest jumping on … and trying to purchase them.”
