The Tasmania Devils have climbed to fifth on the VFL ladder after a comfortable 14-point win over the Kangaroos at North Hobart Oval today.
The Devils ran out 104-90 winners, pulling away in the second half to seal the result.
It was a tight contest early, with the Kangaroos holding a 16-7 lead at quarter time.
The Devils fought back in the second term to close the gap to 13 points at the main break, trailing 23-36.

From there, the Devils took control, narrowing the margin to just five points at three-quarter time before piling on 52 points in the final term to run away with the match.
Jye Menzie was one of the standout performers for the Devils, racking up 24 disposals, eight marks and four tackles to go with one goal and three behinds.

Geordie Payne matched Menzie’s workload with 25 disposals and 10 marks.
Harry Elmer was busy across the ground with a game-high 25 disposals, including 17 handballs, while also contributing seven marks and six tackles.
Caleb Mitchell chipped in with 23 disposals and seven marks, adding a goal to his tally.
Jed Hagan provided the firepower up forward, booting four goals from 14 disposals.

Jack Callinan kicked two goals from 17 disposals, while Maddox Iverach and Sam Siggins also kicked two goals apiece.
Cameron Owen had a big day in the ruck, recording 33 hitouts to go with 10 disposals and two tackles.
Lachlan Hay finished with 18 disposals and seven marks, while Zach Adams gathered 19 disposals and nine marks.
The win moves the Devils into a strong position on the VFL ladder as they sit fifth.
The Devils’ VFLW women’s side is also in the action at North Hobart Oval today, taking on North Melbourne at 1:35pm.
